The colophon

The Season Book is a bound volume, not a company. Between roughly 2000 and 2023 this domain carried the website of Stages of Imagination, a non-profit children's theatre that toured original character-education musicals to schools across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Its pages announced plays, sold CDs, listed assembly schedules, posted reviews, and carried the company's songs in RealAudio and Windows Media.

What a cahier is

Each section here is a cahier: a signature sewn into the volume. The playbills hold the six named productions; the recordings keep the CDs, song clips and video clips the company put online; the company papers keep the assemblies, the staff, the reviews and the Take-Time-to-Talk programme; the last cahier binds the site itself, which lived twice, once in Flash-era pages and once as a rebuilt site years later.

What the record shows and does not

The public capture record kept the tour pages, the play descriptions, the staff photographs and the shop shelf. It did not keep the touring contracts, the school correspondence, or what the company did between captures. Where the record is silent, the sheet says so.

What this site is not

This is not the company's website and not a booking office. Nothing here sells a CD, reserves an assembly, or speaks for the performers. Names and dates are quoted as historical record; the plates on these sheets are illustrations, not the company's own photographs.
